The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Clarence L. Fisher, 36, 414 N. Henderson Ave., was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, assault on a law enforcement officer and driving while revoked.
  • Two subjects were placed in custody pending charges for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Mark A. Messmer, 36, of Chaffee, Mo., was arrested on three Cape Girardeau County warrants for forgery, larceny and fraud and a Stoddard County warrant for larceny.
  • Donna S. Pobst, 42, 1400 S. West End Blvd, Apt. 87, was arrested on a Scott City warrant for failure to appear for driving while intoxicated.
  • Jeffrey M. Essner, 19, 1439 Price St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for leaving the scene.

Summons

  • Denzil J. Brown, 17, 1528 Kingsbury Drive, was issued a summons for driving a vehicle in a park.

  • A computer was reported stolen at 1710 N. Sprigg St.
  • Cash was reported stolen at 510 N. Fountain St.
  • A pool cue was reported stolen and a vehicle was reported damaged at 1701 Lacey St.

  • A peace disturbance was reported in the 900 block of North West Lane.
  • Fraud was reported.
