Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Hannah M. Hart, 29, 628 Terry Lane, was arrested on suspicion of attempted stealing.
• A subject is in custody pending charges for fraudulently attempting to obtain a controlled substance.
• Casey L. Coleman, 24, of Jackson was arrested on a Festus, Mo., warrant for failure to appear for assault.

Summonses

• Christine L. Hamilton, 45, 334 N. Fountain St., was issued a summons for a leash-law violation.
• Gary L. Primm, 55, 900 S. Ellis St., was issued a summons for trespassing.

Thefts

• Jaspers, 1008 N. Kings­highway, reported a theft of fuel.
• A wallet was report stolen at 2136 William St.
• Medication and money were reported stolen at 226 Barberry St.
• A checkbook was reported stolen at 1925 Broadway.
• Shell D-Mart, 3415 William St., reported a theft of fuel.
• Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported a theft of fuel.
• Identity theft was reported.
• JCS/Tel-Link, 1606 N. Kingshighway, reported a theft of service.
• Rhodes 101, 2109 William St., reported a theft of fuel.
• Macy's, 3049 William St., reported a theft. Ellen D. Drake, 19, 505 Washington Ave., No. 9, was arrested in connection with the incident.

Miscellaneous

• An 18-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
• A 32-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
