The following items were reported by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Jonathon M. Gray, 19, of Jackson, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation and failure to appear.
  • Leslie A. Barker, 41, of 1880 Greenbriar Drive, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.
  • A suspect is in custody pending formal charges on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance.
  • A suspect is in custody pending formal charges on suspicion of a controlled substance.
  • A suspect is in custody pending formal charges on suspicion of driving while revoked, failure to register motor vehicle, failure to maintain financial responsibility.

Assaults

  • Three assaults were reported

Thefts

  • Kidd's, 103 N. Kingshighway, reported a theft of gasoline.
  • Amerimart, 865 N. Kingshighway, reported a theft of gasoline.
  • Kmart, 11 S. Kingshighway, reported a theft.
  • Electronics were reported stolen at 2816 Themis St., Apt E.
  • Fraudulent use of a credit device was reported.
  • Rhodes 101, 1125 N. Sprigg St., reported a theft of gasoline.
  • A theft was reported in the 100 block of North Water Street.
  • Rhodes 101, 1624 N. Kingshighway reported a theft.
  • Burglary, trespassing and property damage was reported.

Robbery

  • Payless Shoe Store, 3437 William St., reported a robbery, armed criminal action and felonious restraint.

  • Property was reported damaged at 1015 Bloomfield St.
  • Property was reported damaged at 117 Themis St.

Miscellaneous

  • A wallet was found at 40 S. Sprigg St.
  • Sexual misconduct was reported.
  • Harassment was reported at 508 Cape Meadows Circle.
  • Endangering welfare of a child was reported.
  • Protective custody was reported at 1700 Broadway.
  • Endangering the welfare of a child was reported.

Jackson

The following items were reported by the Jackson Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Amanda L. Reed, 25, of Scott City was arrested on a St. Francois County warrant for fraud.
  • Samantha N. King, 24, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.

Miscellaneous

  • Property was reported found in the 900 block of West Independence Street.
