The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

  • A subject was in custody pending formal charges for driving while intoxicated, no valid operator's license, failure to provide financial responsibility of a motor vehicle, two counts of failure to stop at a stop sign, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway, improper turn, careless and imprudent driving and leaving the scene of an accident.

Arrests

  • Nicholas J. Young, 28, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault and possession of methamphetamine.
  • Justin M. Locke, 24, 1504 Whitener St., was arrested on suspicion of possession of pseudoephedrine with intent to manufacture and possession of a precursor with intent to manufacture.
  • Donald D. Robinson-Dorris, 24, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for improper registration.
  • Travis W. Gibson, 35, of Benton, Mo., was arrested on two warrants for probation violations.
  • John R. Mitchell III, 27, 195 Windsor Ave., was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court for failure to pay fine and costs for suspended operator's license and for contempt of court for failure to pay fine and cost for assault.
  • Chelsea N. Hawn, 20, of Jackson was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for probation violation for suspended operator's license, failure to appear for improper registration, no seat belt, no insurance proof and revoked operator's license.
  • Angela N. Wilkinson, 25, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on three Cape Girardeau contempt of court warrants for improper registration, failure for required motor vehicle financial responsibility and failure to display license.
  • A subject was in custody pending formal charges for possession of marijuana and driving while revoked.
  • Sulayman K. Moore, 29, 3001 Mimosa Drive, No. 3, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
  • James A. Garrett, 46, of Jackson was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
  • A subject was in custody pending formal charges for violating an order of protection.
  • Anthony J. Mackins, 23, 412 Sheridan Drive, Apt. F, was arrested on a Charleston, Mo., warrant for speeding, driving while suspended and driving while intoxicated.
  • Lora L. Potts, 50, 1820 Delwin St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for a seat-belt violation.

Summonses

  • Nicholas R. Abernathy, 19, of St. Charles, Mo., received a summons for indecent exposure.
  • Marcus T. Morgan, 28, 926 College St., received a summons for indecent exposure.
  • Steven W. Lacy, 33, of Dexter, Mo., received a summons for failure to maintain property free of trash and litter.
  • Jeffrey M. Luetkenhaus, 38, 14 S. Ellis St., received a summons for allowing dog to bark frequently, disturbing others.

Assault

  • An assault was reported.

  • Wal-Mart, 3439 William St., reported a theft of clothing. Christopher W. Magers, 17, 121 East Rodney Drive, Apt. H1, and Rayburn Cowan, 17, 121 East Rodney Drive, Apt. H1, were arrested in connection with the complaint.
  • Kmart, 11 S. Kingshighway, reported the theft of a DVD player. A 13-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court in connection with the complaint.
  • A wallet was reported stolen at 2 N. Main St.
  • Collectible dolls were reported stolen at 1630 Oak Hills Drive.
  • A truck tailgate was reported stolen at 43 S. Main St.

Burglary

  • Property damage was reported on East Jackson Boulevard.

  • Fraud was reported in the 700 block of West Independence Street.
