Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

• Ricky Brockett, 47, 2409 Sunny Lane, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

• Armando Guzman, 25, 2863 Whitener, Unit B4, was arrested on suspicion of driving with no operator's license and no proof of insurance.
• Shannon Hunt, 17, 2834 Independence St., was arrested on suspicion of driving while revoked.
• A subject was in custody pending charges for domestic assault.
• Anthony Hempstead, 20, 1000 Ranney Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.
• A subject was in custody pending charges for possession of a controlled substance.

Burglaries

• A burglary was reported at 3425 Glenview Drive.

Thefts

• Theft of a motor vehicle was reported at Frederick and William streets.
• A cell phone was reported stolen at 555 N. Spring Ave.

Miscellaneous

• A 53-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
• A 31-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items.

Assaults

• An assault was reported in the 2000 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
• An assault was reported in the 900 block of West Main Street.

Property damage

• Property damage was reported in the 1600 block of Deerwood Drive.
• Property damage was reported on East Jackson Boulevard.
