Arrests

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Michael W. Hinton, 28, 10327 Girard Road, Potosi, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of parole violation.
  • A subject is in custody pending formal charges of burglary, domestic assault, resisting arrest, property damage and ex parte violation.
  • A subject is in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia, resisting arrest and tampering.
  • A subject is in custody pending formal charges of resisting arrest.
  • Vontrice L. Moore, 25, of 3023 Aspen Drive, No. 6, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court.
  • James D. Noland, 46, 1020 William St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court.
  • James J. Dennis, 43, 121 East Rodney Drive, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt.
  • Glenda B. Jones, 50, 320 N. Pacific St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for prostitution.

Summons

  • James D. Noland, 46, 1020 William St., was issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Stealing

  • A bike was reported stolen at 1545 Grandview Lane.
  • U-Haul, 740 S. Kingshighway, reported cash and checks stolen.
  • Shell DMart, 2415 William St., reported fuel stolen.
  • A receiver, speakers, Sony PlayStation, DVD player and other items were reported stolen at 611 North St.

Assaults

  • An assault was reported at 2861 Themis St.
  • Third-degree assault was reported at 10 S. Plaza Way.
  • Second-degree assault was reported in the 200 block of South Ellis Street.
  • An assault was reported at 121 S. Sprigg St.
  • First-degree domestic assault was reported.

Property damage

  • A window was reported damaged at 1022 S. Benton St.
  • A vehicle interior was reported damaged with bleach at 51 Hazel Drive.
  • A window was reported broken at 227 S. Pacific St.

Miscellaneous

  • Harassment was reported.
  • A black portfolio, deposit envelope and a wallet were reported lost at 3049 William St.
  • Cliff's Rent to Own, 612 Morgan Oak St., reported fraud.
  • Protective custody was reported in the 100 block of North Main Street.
