Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Sara D. Rucker, 28, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for a seat-belt violation.
  • Mark A. Warran, 22, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Scott City warrant for failure to appear for driving while intoxicated.
  • Four women were in custody pending formal charges for stealing.
  • Brittany D. Newsom, 21, 1101 S. Pacific St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant.
  • Andrew D. Ligons, 21, 1920 Bella Vista Drive, Jackson, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant.
  • A 16-year-old was arrested on suspicion of prohibited acts.

Summonses

  • Zackary A. Kelley, 22, of Delta was issued was issued a summons for driving while intoxicated.
  • Danielle N. Hammers, 22, was issued a summons for driving while intoxicated.
  • Michael David Maglione, 18, 412 S. Ellis St., was issued a summons for minor in possession of alcohol by consumption.
  • James Paul Davidson, 25, 928 N. Fountain St., was issued a summons for driving while intoxicated/careless and imprudent driving.

Assaults

  • A domestic assault was reported.
  • Third-degree assault was reported.
  • A domestic assault was reported.

Thefts

  • Clothing was reported stolen at 1404 Lexington Ave., Apt. 13.
  • License plates were reported stolen from a car at 1038 N. Middle St.
  • Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported the theft of gasoline.

Burglaries

  • Power tools and a cell phone charger were reported stolen from 337 N. Park St.
  • A broken window and the theft of money were reported at 1269 S. Kingshighway.

Miscellaneous

  • Interference with child custody was reported.
  • China Palace, 2123 Broadway, reported a forgery.
  • Pagliai's Pizza, 1129 Broadway, reported a forgery.
  • Carmart, 1455 N. Kingshighway, reported a forgery.
  • A citation was issued at 711 Penny Ave. for failure to maintain property free of brush.
