Arrests

  • Jack A. Page, 44, 30 N. Hanover St., Apt. 2, was arrested on suspicion of child abuse.
  • Robin M. Ogborn, 42, 114 S. West End Blvd., was arrested on suspicion of a peace disturbance.
  • Jerry D. Gromer, 36, of Marble Hill, Mo., was arrested on a probation parole warrant for parole violation.
  • Charles E. Stevenson, 44, 646 S. Henderson Ave., was arrested on suspicion of assault.
  • A 15-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of assault.
  • Titus D. Brockman, 17, 419 Louis St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for stealing.

DWI

  • Andrew R. Vanek, 22, 1007 N. West End Blvd., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation for driving while intoxicated.

Assault

  • An assault was reported.

Summonses

  • Hazel S. Yount, 1824 New Madrid St., received a summons for failure to yield.
  • Brenda S. White of Thebes, Ill., received a summons for improper lane change.
  • Derek W. Brucker of Oak Ridge, received a summons for failure to yield,
  • Rebeka C. Searcy, 1240 Normal Ave., received a summons for striking a legally stopped vehicle.
  • Matthew J. Wengert of Perryville, Mo., received a summons or failure to yield.
  • Robert K. Hubbard, 21, 439 N. Sprigg St., Apt. 9, received a summons for indecent exposure.

Property damage

  • Back windshield of a vehicle was reported damaged at 1340 W. Cape Rock Drive.

Thefts

  • Jaspers, 1008 N. Kingshighway, reported a theft of gasoline.
  • AmerenUE, 45 S. Minnesota Ave., reported the theft of assorted copper wire.

Miscellaneous

  • An ex parte violation was reported.

Arrests

  • Kelly Overy, 23, of Oak Ridge was arrested on a St. Mary's warrant for failure to appear for passing within 100 feet of an intersection and no proof of insurance.
  • Michael S. Edwards, 38, of Anna, Ill., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to register as a sex offender.
  • Chad M. Unterreiner, 19, of Perryville, Mo., was arrested on a Perry County warrant for failure to appear for resisting arrest, driving while license revoked and failure to register a motor vehicle.
  • Richard J. Godar, 45, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for possession of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
  • Andrew R. Vanek, 22, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation and driving while intoxicated.

Jackson

The following items were released by the Jackson Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Fraud

  • Fraud was reported in the 700 block of West Main Street.
  • Fraud was reported in the 1900 block of Bainbridge Road.
  • Fraud was reported in the 300 block of West Main Street.

Thefts

  • A theft was reported in the 100 block of Tracy Street.
  • A theft was reported in the 300 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

Summons

  • Dustim P. McDowell, 23, received a summons for driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway.

DWI

  • Eric R. Jansen, 29, of 337 Sapphire Lane, received a summons for driving while intoxicated and failure to use a turn signal.

Property damage

  • Property was reported damaged in the 400 block of East Lane.

Miscellaneous

  • Trespassing was reported in the 500 block of West Main Street.
