Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

n A 15-year-old boy was taken into custody in connection with a theft reported at 3049 William St.

Summons

• Joshua Rainey, 23, 790 Mockingbird Lane, received a summons for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

Thefts

• Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported the theft of gas.
• A laptop, Coach bag and Dooney & Bourke purse were reported stolen at 714 N. Sprigg St.
• A cell phone was reported stolen at 1444 Independence St.

Property damage

• The front quarter panel of a vehicle was reported damaged at 2002 Plaza Way.

Miscellaneous

• A 22-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
• A 30-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
• Harassment was reported.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

• Ronald S. Roark, 26, 957 W. Independence St., Lot 53, was arrested on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon and assault.

Thefts

• A theft was reported in the 2000 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
• A theft was reported in the 1900 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

Burglary

• A burglary was reported in the 1800 block of Bainbridge Road.
• A burglary was reported in the 300 block of Donna Drive.

Miscellaneous

n A fight in progress was reported in the 900 block of West Independence Street.

• A peace disturbance was reported in the 500 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
• A peace disturbance was reported in the 300 block of South Shawnee Boulevard.
• A peace disturbance was reported in the area of North Georgia and Kate streets.
• A peace disturbance was reported in the area of Kate Street.
• Trespassing was reported in the area of South Oklahoma Street and West Main Street.
