DWI

  • Eric C. Heuring, 32, 2744 Lynwood Hills Drive, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

  • Kevin J. Dennis, 35, 2835 Lear St., was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Kevin N. Cotner, 42, 27 S. Henderson Ave., was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.
  • Anthony G. Wade, 37, 1032 N. Middle St., was arrested on suspicion of probation violation.
  • Kelly G. Overy, 25, of Oak Ridge was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for parole violation.
  • Tammy A. Bennett, 44, 224 Independence St., Apt. D, was arrested on three Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for resisting arrest, failure to maintain property free of litter and nuisance property.
  • Elic L. Payne, 20, of Carbondale, Ill., was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for resisting/interfering with arrest.

Burglary

  • A window air conditioner was reported stolen at 715 N. Middle St.

Theft

  • A wallet was reported stolen at 3439 William St.

Property damage

  • Doors to vehicle were reported damaged at 912 Forest Ave.
  • A spotlight was reported stolen at 1327 N. West End Blvd.
  • Rhodes 101, 10 S. West Blvd., reported a theft of gasoline.
  • Wal-Mart, 3439 William St., reported theft of clothes, jewelry and other items. A subject was in custody pending formal charges of stealing in connection with the incident.

Miscellaneous

  • An animal bite was reported.
  • A request for service was reported.
  • Endangering the welfare of a child and manufacturing methamphetamine were reported.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Terry Pyles, 36, no address given, was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear and a Cape Girardeau County warrant.
  • Nicole D. Phillips, 26, 674 E. Jefferson St., was arrested on suspicion of third-degree domestic assault.

  • A domestic disturbance was reported in the 500 block of Michael Anna Street.
  • A domestic disturbance was reported in the 900 block of West Independence Street.
  • A peace disturbance was reported in the 900 block of West Independence Street.
