Arrests

  • Anthony L. Cummings, 22, 3007 Wisteria Drive, Apt. A, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for receiving stolen property.
  • A subject is in custody pending charges for unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
  • Kevin J. Dennis, 35, 2835 Lear Drive, was arrested on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear for drugs and a St. Francois County warrant for failure to appear for fraud.
  • A subject is in custody pending charges for domestic assault and child endangerment.
  • Brett C. Medlin, 17, of Scott City and a 14-year-old girl were arrested on suspicion of being minors in possession of alcohol.
  • Jiles T. Markham Jr., 46, of Advance, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of hindering prosecution.
  • Tyler J. Pengelley, 25, 319 N. Park Ave., No. 286, was arrested on suspicion of stealing.

Assault

  • A domestic assault was reported.

Burglary

  • Southeast Builders, 411 Jefferson Ave., reported a burglary.

Theft

  • Wal-Mart, 3439 William St., reported a theft of items. Three boys ages 15 and 16 were arrested in connection with the incident.

  • A 35-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
  • A dog bite was reported.

The Jackson Police Department released the following items.

Theft

  • Theft was reported in the 1900 block of Ripken Way.

Property damage

  • Property damage was reported in the 1300 block of Lenco Avenue.

Miscellaneous

  • Harassment was reported in the 200 block of South Shawnee Boulevard.
  • A disturbance was reported in the 1400 block of Old Cape Road.
  • Fraud was reported in the 200 block of Vail Drive.
