Cape Girardeau
The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
DWI
- Andrew G. Cook, 26, 201 N. Park Ave., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, driving with no insurance or license and striking a parked vehicle.
Arrests
- Heather R. Pittman, 22, 1400 S. West End Blvd., was arrested on suspicion of burglary and stealing.
- Joshua K. McCullough, 19, 724 Themis St., Apt. 2, was arrested on a Jefferson County warrant for failure to appear for a traffic offense.
- A suspect is in custody pending formal charges on suspicion of domestic assault.
Summonses
- Joshua D. Gronemeyer of Cedar Hills, Mo., received a summons for striking a stopped vehicle.
- Gary L. Dunger of Scott City received a summons for following too closely and failure to show proof of vehicle insurance in connection with a motor vehicle accident.
- Holly M. Raines of Scott City received a summons for following too closely in connection with a motor vehicle accident.
- Chad D. Slaten of Scott City received a summons for following too closely in connection with a motor vehicle accident.
Assaults
- Rape and burglary were reported.
- Domestic assault was reported.
Thefts
- Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported the theft of gasoline.
- A DVD player was reported stolen at 623 Louis St.
- Stereo equipment was reported stolen at Highway 74 and South Kingshighway.
- SEMO Gas, 40 N. Sprigg St., reported the theft of gasoline.
- A fire hydrant and bolts were reported stolen from 240 S. Mount Auburn Road.
- A purse was reported stolen at 101 N. Ellis St.
Miscellaneous
- Identity theft was reported.
- Harassment was reported.

Arrests
- Christopher H. Swader Jr., 17, 206 Tracy St., Apt. D, was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana under 35 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Dalton K. Cochran, 17, 178 Comanche Lane, was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana under 35 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- A 16-year-old boy was referred to juvenile authorities for possession of marijuana under 35 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.
