Arrests
- Lord L. Gwin, 40, 4217 County Road 620, was arrested on suspicion of assault.
- A suspect is in custody pending formal charges of burglary, stealing, tampering with an airplane and property damage.
- A suspect is in custody pending formal charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
- A custody is in custody pending formal charges of property damage at 45 N. Main St.
- A juvenile was arrested on a curfew violation.

- Paul S. Simpson, 24, 637 S. Henderson Ave., received a summons for trespassing.
- Trae C. Bell, 23, 303 W. Washington St., Apt. A, Jackson, received a summons for assault.
- Clarence J. Biggerstaff, 30, 1340 Wayne St., received a summons for assault.
- Brian E. Hill, 33, 1017 Harmony St., received a summons for driving while intoxicated and no headlights at night.
- Jeremy D. Bigham, 19, of Thebes, Ill., received a summons for driving while intoxicated and speeding.
Assault
Thefts
- A suspect is in custody pending formal charges on suspicion of stealing clothes at 1400 S. West End Blvd.
- A juvenile was arrested on suspicion of stealing jewelry from Sears Grand, 330 Siemers Drive.
- Tractor Supply Co., 501 S. Kingshighway, reported shoes stolen.
- Electronic items were reported stolen at 401 Washington St.
- Rhodes 101, 2109 William St., reported the theft of gasoline.
- Rhodes 101, 10 S. West End Blvd., reported the theft of gasoline.
Burglary
- Burglary, the theft of money and damage to a door was reported at 520 Broadway.
Property damage
- Cape Girardeau Public Schools reported damaged vehicle windows at Central Junior High, 205 Caruthers Ave.
Miscellaneous
- Interference with child custody was reported.
- A 20-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.
