Arrestsn Melvin E. Hufford, 42, of 306 Third Street, Talapoosa, Mo., was arrested Tuesday on a Dunklin County warrant for failure to appear.
Threasa D. Stallings, 45, of Cape Girardeau, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of property damage and tampering.
Summonsn Albert Ray, 58, of 1022 N. Frederick, Cape Girardeau, received a summons Tuesday for a peace disturbance.
Assaultsn Assault and unlawful use of a weapon were reported Tuesday at 1022 N. Frederick. A 36-year-old male and a 16-year-old male were placed in custody pending the filing of formal charges in connection with the complaint.
Theftsn Stealing by deceit and passing bad checks was reported Tuesday by Mobile Home World at 902 S. Kingshighway.
Gasoline was reported stolen Tuesday by JD's at 1101 William.
Batteries were reported stolen Tuesday by Wal-Mart at 3439 William. Derrick Garver, 19, of Route 1, Box 272 C, Marble Hill, Mo., and Samantha B. Samons, 20, of 515 Cape Meadows, No. 15, Cape Girardeau, were arrested on suspicion of stealing in connection with the complaint.
A washing machine was reported stolen Tuesday by Matt Goehman Rentals at 234 N. Lorimier.
Miscellaneousn Fraudulent use of a credit device was reported Tuesday at 1842 Dunklin.
Stalking was reported Tuesday at 123 N. Main.
Jackson
The following items were released by the Jackson Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Arrestsn Jeremiah Brown, 20, of 957 W. Independence, Lot 45, Jackson, was arrested Wednesday for minor in possession of alcohol and resisting arrest.
James Brown, 24, of 957 W. Independence, Lot 45, Jackson, was arrested Wednesday for resisting arrest, failure to stop for a stop sign, careless and imprudent driving, and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.
Miscellaneous
n Harassment was reported Tuesday at the 2400 block of Bainbridge Road.
