DWI
John Jay Hunze, 27 of 1815 N. Kingshighway was issued a summons Saturday on charges of driving while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving at Kingshighway and Gerhardt.
Assaults
An assault was reported Friday.

A purse and its contents were reported stolen on Saturday at 815 Caruthers.
Arrests
Robert Alan Glueck, 19, of Kelso, Mo., was arrested Friday at 401 Independence on a Cape Girardeau city warrant for failure to appear in court.
Christina M. Reed, 21, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on Saturday in connection with an assault at 820 N. Sprigg.
David K. Liebich of Carol Stream, Ill., was arrested on Saturday for failure to drive in a single lane and not wearing a seat belt at Independence and Louisiana.
Edward F. Roberts, 17, of Scott City was arrested Saturday for possession of a controlled substance in the first block of South Main.
Jose Maciel, 44, no address given, was arrested Friday for an assault at 3419 William.
Michael Bowden, 26, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on Saturday at 201 S. Broadview on a Festus, Mo., warrant for failure to appear in court.
Thomas D. Jennings Jr., 27, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on Saturday at 1116 Ranney on a Malden, Mo., city warrant for contempt of court.
Robbery
A robbery was reported Friday in the 400 block of South Ellis. An unknown amount of money was taken.
Summons
A summons was issued Saturday to Margaret A. Smith of Cape Girardeau for failure to show proof of insurance at 3439 William following a traffic accident.Property Damage
A windshield of a vehicle was reported damaged by a BB gun on Saturday at 3020 Boutin Drive.
Miscellaneous
A 13-year-old juvenile was taken into custody on Friday for unlawful use of a weapon at 3020 Boutin Dr.
A 16-year-old girl was taken into custody on Friday as a runaway juvenile.
A 2-year-old boy was reported kidnapped by one of his parents on Friday.
