Cape Girardeau
The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
DWI
- Jeffrey L. Oliver, 46, of Burfordville was arrested on suspicion of careless and imprudent driving and driving while intoxicated.
- Griffin A. Lord, 20, 115 N. Fountain St., No. 215, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and expired plates.
Arrests
- Garmeisha D. Terry, 22, 1005 Jefferson Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation for forgery.
- A subject was in custody pending charges for domestic assault.
- William D. Barnett, 33, 305 W. Murray Lane, was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear.
- Gregory L. Nicholson, 37, 531 N. Fountain St., was arrested on a Perry County warrant for failure to appear.
- Leigh A. Gralen, 19, of Ballwin, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of being a minor in possession of alcohol.
- Scott A. Long, 29, 1927 N. Kingshighway, Apt. 6, was arrested on a Malden, Mo., warrant for contempt of court for driving while intoxicated.
Summonses
- Charles P. Ressler, 25, of Jackson was issued a summons for failure to maintain property free of trash and litter.
- Kaishau L. Kirby, 21, 487 Green Acres Drive, was issued a summons for harassment.
Thefts
- A purse was reported stolen at 2345 Independence St.
- Sears Grand, 330 Siemers Drive, reported a theft. Robert W. Nicholson Jr., 38, of Anna, Ill., was arrested in connection with the incident.
- RC Cola, 374 Siemers Drive, reported theft of a soda machine.
- A handgun, briefcase, wallet, diamond ring were reported stolen on Sprigg Street.
- A mower, gas can and light bulbs were reported stolen and screens and vanity reported damaged at 401 Independence St.
- A television was reported stolen at 533 Cape Meadows Circle.
Property damage
- Damage to tires was reported at 1720 Melissa Lane.
- Port Cape, 19 N. Water St, reported a window broken.
- AT&T, 2200 Themis St., reported damage to a chain-link fence.
- Things Remembered, 3049 William St., reported damage to locks.

- James M. Ryan, 32, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for stealing.

- A theft was reported in the 200 block of North West Lane.

- A burglary was reported in the 1400 block of Boxwood Drive.
