Cape Girardeau

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Titus D. Brockman, 18, 33 S. Henderson Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court and a Cape Girardeau County warrant for domestic assault.
  • Curtis D. Gilmore, 20, of Chicago was arrested by the Sikeston Department of Public Safety on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation.
  • Tyler P. Hawn, 43, 1673 Westfield Drive, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.
  • Devin L. Eastman, 19, 338 Limbaugh Lane, was arrested on three Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court.
  • Leonard McAdory Jr., 33, 623 Jefferson Ave., was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court.

Summonses

  • Melvin C. Johnson, 31, 901 S. Sprigg St., received a summons for littering.
  • Ra'Jae D. Fields, 18, 843 Morgan Oak St., received a summons for fleeing lawful detention.

Assaults

  • A domestic assault was reported. A subject was in custody pending filing of formal charges.

  • Three domestic assaults were reported.
  • An assault was reported at 105 N. Clark Ave.

Thefts

  • Capaha Bank, 3168 William St., reported a theft.
  • A wallet was reported stolen at 1015 Bloomfield St.
  • Port Cape, 19 Water St., reported a theft of barbecue, draft beer, a pitcher and vodka. Tyler P. Hawn, 43, of 1673 Westfield Drive, received a summons in connection with the complaint.
  • DVDs were reported stolen at 530 S. Frederick St.
  • A cellular telephone was reported stolen at 205 Caruthers Ave.
  • Rent One, 610 S. Kingshighway, reported two incidents of failure to return rental property. In the first incident, a washer and dryer were reported unreturned. In the second incident, a living room set was not returned.
  • Lowes, 3440 Lowes Drive, reported a theft of two heaters, plumbing and heating items and kitchen and bath items. A subject was in custody pending filing of formal charges in connection with the complaint.

Burglary

  • A burglary was reported at 317 Mill St. A door was reported damaged and money was taken in the incident.

Property damage

  • A vehicle window was reported damaged and a radar detector was reported stolen at 1307 Cousin St.
  • A vehicle window was reported broken and car stereo equipment was reported stolen at 15 Village Drive.
  • A mailbox was reported damaged at 2409 Perryville Road.

Miscellaneous

  • Interference with custody was reported at 40 S. Sprigg St.
  • An attempted knowing burning was reported at 422 Good Hope St.
