Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Edward G. Spalding III, 22, 1619 Oak Hill Drive, was arrested on suspicion of manufacturing a controlled substance.

* Melanie M. Logan, 27, 501 S. Middle St., No. 1, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.

* Roger D. Farmer, 42, 2048 Big Bend Road, was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.

* Ocie L. Hampton Sr., 53, Charleston, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.

* Evan D. Tillman, 17, 509 S. Middle St., was arrested on suspicion of stealing, trespassing and possession of alcohol by a minor.

* Craig D. Marks, 30, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a Stoddard County warrant for obstructing justice and a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for nonsupport.

* A 14-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court for peace disturbance.

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges for resisting or interfering with an arrest.

Assaults

* A domestic assault was reported.

* A domestic assault was reported.

Thefts

* Rhodes 101, 10 S. West End Blvd., reported a theft of gasoline.

* Mail was reported stolen at 2606 Gardenia Lane.

* Walmart, 3439 William St., reported a theft of alcohol and air freshener. Jasmine A. Fisher, 21, 136 S. Lorimier St., No. 6, and Chelsea T. Gurley, 18, 1217 Cape Meadows Circle, No. 1, were arrested in connection with the complaint.

* A ring was reported stolen at 1435 Wayne St.

Property damage

* A vehicle was reported damaged at 2900 Whitener St.

Miscellaneous

* A violation of an order of protection was reported.
