Cape Girardeau
The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Arrests
- Gregory L. Crutchfield, 38, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., was arrested on a St. Francois County warrant for insufficient funds.
- A 14-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court for property damage.
- Joseph Boyer, 55, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of stealing.
- Jared L. DeClue, 25, 3022 Themis St., Apt. A, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for stealing.
- James D. Hastings, 55, 424 Mason St., was issued a summons for failure to maintain property free of trash and litter.
- Terry J. Roberts, 31, of 827 N. Spanish St., was arrested on two Cape Girardeau County warrants, one for parole violation, the other for failure to appear for nonsupport.
Assaults
- A domestic assault was reported.
- An assault was reported at 325 N. Sprigg St. David W. Cross received a summons in connection with the incident.
Thefts
- Capaha Bank, 380 N. Kingshighway, reported a theft of mail.
- A purse and money were reported stolen at 3439 William St.
- A cell phone was reported stolen at 1701 Lacey St.
- A concrete statue was reported stolen at 1619 Lexington Ave.
- Jaspers, 10 S. West End Blvd., reported a theft of gasoline.
- A cell phone, iPod, keys and CDs were reported stolen at 28 N. Hanover St.
- A laptop computer and cell phone were reported stolen at 1005 N. Middle St.
- Money was reported stolen at 220 N. Park, Apt. B.
- Schnucks, 19 S. Kingshighway, reported a theft of groceries.
- A 1998 4D Chevy Lumina and miscellaneous household items were reported stolen at 1212 Good Hope St.
- Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported a gasoline theft.
Burglary
- A burglary was reported at 815 West Rodney Drive. An Xbox and game were reported stolen in the incident.
Property damage
- A vehicle door was reported damaged at 1289 Lexington Ave.
Miscellaneous
- A 27-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
- A peace disturbance was reported at 339 Broadway.
- An animal bite was reported.
- A peace disturbance and second-degree trespassing were reported.
Jackson
The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Summonses
- Andrew J. Bucher, 17, County Road 603, was issued a summons for failure to stop at a stop sign.
- Christopher D. Jenkins, 17, 220 Seabrook Drive, was issued a summons for failure to stop at a posted stop sign.
- William B. Lewis, 30, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle without a license in possession.
- Randy F. Collins, 36, was issued a summons for failure to register motor vehicle annually and failure to maintain financial responsibility.
Assault
- An assault was reported in the 900 block of West Independence Street.
Theft
- A theft was reported in the 2200 block of Bent Creek Drive.
Miscellaneous
- A request to check the welfare was reported in the 400 block of White Oak Street.
- A check the welfare was reported in the 900 block of West Independence Street.

The Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Arrests
- Christopher G. Thompson, 37, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway.
- Theresa L. Taylor, 41, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for improper registration.
- Lynnette M. Schwartz, 35, of Ste. Genevieve, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway.
- Howard W. Pikey, 48, of Bell City, Mo., was arrested on a Stoddard County warrant for nonsupport.
- Deloise K. Jackson, 27, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Randy Randall, 31, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of assault.
- Nathan B. Turner, 20, of Olive Branch, Ill., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation of being a visibly intoxicated minor.
