The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI A motor vehicle accident Saturday morning at the corner of Broadway and Sprigg involved a driver who was intoxicated.

A subject was placed in custody Thursday pending the filing of formal charges for driving while intoxicated.

Tiffany R. Henderson, 19, of 2822 Whitener, Apt. 4, was arrested Friday on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Arrests Jeffrey W. McGee, 27, of 1537 N. Main, Apt. A, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

Phillip J. Swift, 17, of 169 N. Lake, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of assault and armed criminal action.

Kevin C. Jungers, 43, of 216 Vicki Lynn Circle, Scott City, Mo., was arrested Thursday on suspicion of possession of crack cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia and failure to signal.

Melena Z. Broglin, 25, of 723 N. West End Boulevard, was arrested Friday on suspicion of attempting to possess crack cocaine and possession of a controlled substance.

Kevin W. Lemons, 25, of P.O. Box 576, Advance, Mo., was arrested Thursday on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court.

Samia J. Carter, 20, of 412 North, was arrested Thursday on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court.

Tana A. Propst, 39, of 621 Themis, Apt. 13, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of property damage.

A 44-year-old female was placed in protective custody Thursday.

Gary L. Primm, 49, of 900 S. Ellis, was arrested Friday on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.

Summonses Aaron W. Chapman of 134 S. Lorimer, Apt. 2, received a summons Thursday for failure to yield to traffic.

Teri A. Fehrenbach of 1000 Tower Circle received a summons Thursday for striking a legally parked vehicle.

Christopher M. Leavy, 39, of 622 Broadway, received a summons Friday for making a false declaration.

Thomas Ebner, 107 N. West End Blvd., was issued a summons Friday for having an open container of alcohol at the corner of Independence and Frederick.

Legrand Petty, 1000 Towers No. 5410, was issued a summons Friday for indecent exposure.

Jason Gordon, of Oran, Mo., was issued a summons Saturday for property damage at 442 S. Sprigg.

Assaults Tyrance D. Hill, 24, was arrested Thursday at 1108 N. Spanish on suspicion of domestic assault.

Timothy D. Dickison, 23, of 5 Village Drive, Apt. 7, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of domestic assault.

A subject was placed in custody Thursday pending the filing of formal charges for domestic assault.

An assault was reported Friday to the Cape Girardeau Police Department.

Child abuse was reported Friday to the Cape Girardeau Police Department.

Thefts Clothing, sunglasses and medication were reported stolen Thursday at 1201 Lacey. A vehicle was reported damaged.

Gasoline was reported stolen Friday by Amoco D-Mart at 3276 William.

Three-inch letters were reported stolen at the Show Me Center Thursday to the Department of Public Safety at Southeast Missouri State University.

Cash was reported stolen Friday from Union Planter's Bank at 101 S. Mount Auburn.

A stolen green 1991 Ford Explorer was recovered Friday at 443 Marie.

Cash was reported stolen Friday at 1807 Woodlawn.

A refrigerator and stove were reported stolen Friday at 615 Boxwood.

Schnucks, 19 S. Kingshighway, reported cigarettes stolen Friday. One person was in police custody pending the filing of formal charges.

A purse and a cellular phone were reported stolen Saturday at 827 S. Kingshighway.

A juvenile was cited for stealing cigarettes and money Saturday at 1701 Lacey.

Burglary A burglary was reported Thursday at 169 North Lake. A rifle was taken and a bedroom door and jewelry drawer were reported damaged.

Miscellaneous A 13-year-old male was cited to juvenile court Thursday for peace disturbance.

A 9-year-old male was cited to juvenile court Thursday for peace disturbance.

Six dealer car license plates were reported missing Thursday at 1501 N. Kingshighway.

Tampering was reported Friday at 3011 Themis.

Walgreens, 1 S. Kingshighway, reported that someone fraudulently attempted to obtain a controlled substance Friday.

A domestic assault was reported Friday.

Two juveniles were cited into juvenile court Friday for walking in the street when a sidewalk was available.

A peace disturbance was reported Saturday at the 300 block of Hanover.
