Arrests

  • Kami Lynn, 29, of Jackson, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant.
  • Scott Edmonds, 37, of Glen Allen, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while driver's license suspended/revoked.
  • Jeffrey Hallowell, 37, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of stealing motor vehicle and tampering with motor vehicle.
  • William Jaquin, 28, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while driver's license revoked/suspended and failure to maintain insurance.
  • Gary Toppins, 51, of Jackson was arrested on a Jackson warrant, a Cape Girardeau County warrant and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Assaults

  • Assault was reported in the 300 block of South Missouri Street.

  • Jarrett Benton, 49, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.
  • Tina Ivey, 54, of Glen Allen, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and failure to drive in single lane.
  • Brock Ragsdale, 38, of Nashville, Tennessee, was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, failure to display headlights and fail to register motor vehicle.

Thefts

  • Theft was reported in the 3000 block of East Jackson Boulevard 10/16/2023
  • Theft was reported in the 1900 block of Ripken Way.
  • Theft was reported in the 100 block of West Main Street.

  • James A. Virea, 30, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a New Madrid County warrant for auto theft.
  • Jerrie L. Prystalski, 52, of Oran, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
  • Xavier D. Dockery, 23, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident and resisting arrest.
  • Jesse J. Ochoa, 31, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for driving while revoked and stealing.
  • Adam P. Kerr, 41, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of first-degree rape, first-degree sodomy, two counts of first-degree domestic assault, three counts of armed criminal action and two counts of second-degree domestic assault.
  • Cody W. French, 36, of Perryville, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of first-degree trespassing.
  • Derrick A. Moore, 30, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for no seatbelt and no insurance.

Moore, 29, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of resisting/interfering with arrest, two Cape Girardeau County warrants for failure to appear for failing to stop at a stop sign and fourth-degree assault and two Cape Girardeau Police Department warrants for expire plates and no insurance.
  • Jason D. Adams, 39, of Park Hills, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of delivery of controlled substance and a Jefferson County warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
  • Stacey J. Harris, 37, of Advance, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of delivery of a controlled substance and a Jefferson County warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
  • Marcus A. Huckaby, 29, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for second-degree burglary and stealing.
  • Kimyetta T. Bruster, 31, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for violation of education requirement for a child.
