Arrests

Antonio D. Short, 25, of 1002 Stoddard St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.

Bruce K. Huffman, 44, of Route 2, Advance, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of failure to maintain property free of weeds.

Russell S. Womack, 39, of 1023 Boutin Drive, was arrested on suspicion for animal abuse.

Summons

John W. Lovelady, 22, of 426 Bellevue St., was issued a summons for stealing medicine at Kmart at 11 S. Kingshighway.

Miscellaneous

Phone harrassment was reported Friday at the 1200 block of Harmony Street.

Child abuse was reported at 40 S. Sprigg St.

A peace disturbance was reported at the 1100 block of Ranney Avenue.

Unlawful display of merchandise was reported at 429 Broadway.

A dog bite was reported at 3833 Valley View Lane.

Thefts

Checks were reported stolen at 45 S. West End Blvd.

A wallet was reported stolen at 615 Broadway.

A license plate was reported stolen at 1238 Meadowbrook Drive.

A price tag was reported switched at Mr. Ed's Trading Post at 625 Broadway.

Medication was reported stolen at 1119 Good Hope St.

Liquor was reported stolen at Schnucks at 19 S. Kingshighway. A subject is in custody pending the filing of formal charges.

Gasoline was reported stolen at Rhodes 101 at 1610 N. Kingshighway.

A television was reported stolen by Rent One at 610 S. Kingshighway.

Property damage

A rear passenger car door was reported dented at 913 Broadway.

A window was reported broken at Cayce's Clothing at 318 S. Sprigg St. A subject is in custody pending formal charges.
