Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Anthony R. Bell, 25, 223 S. Hanover St., was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest and possession of a controlled substance.
• Jeremy L. Taylor, 33, 2842 Whitener St., Apt. B2, was arrested on suspicion of endangering the welfare of a child.
• A 14-year-old girl was cited into juvenile court for assault and property damage.
• Michael A. Stearns, 20, 624 Louis St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for improper registration.
• Brandon R. Garner, 23, 3009 Mimosa Drive, No. 3, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for distribution of a controlled substance.
• A 12-year-old girl was cited into juvenile court for assault.

Assaults

• An assault was reported.

Thefts

• A wallet was reported stolen at 3439 William St.
• A laptop computer was reported stolen.
• Prescription medication was reported stolen at 1104 William St.
• Shell D-Mart, 3415 William St., reported a theft of gasoline.

• Vehicle damage was reported in the 1000 block of South Silver Springs Road.

• A 42-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

The Jackson Police Department released the following items.
