* Elizabeth A. Young, 21, of St. Louis was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Arrest

* A suspect is in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute.

Assaults

* A second-degree domestic assault was reported.

* A sexual assault was reported.

Thefts

* A license plate was reported stolen at 19 S. Spanish St.

* License plates were reported stolen at 1037 N. Middle St.

Property damage

* A storm window was reported damaged at 1022 Jefferson Ave.

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Amos H. Locklear, 26, 714 Goodson Drive, was arrested on suspicion of second-degree burglary, second-degree property damage, possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

* Charles R. Ryan, 39, of Marion, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary, unlawful use of a weapon, assault on a police officer and resisting arrest.

Summonses

* Curtis M. Kraus, 21, 615 August St., received a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.

* Amy M. Derossett, 29, 138 Cedar Circle, received a summons for failure to wear a seat belt.

Miscellaneous

* Trespassing was reported in the 600 block of East Jefferson Street.

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 1300 block of East Main Street.

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 900 block of East Adams Street.

* Harassment was reported in the 900 block of Greensferry Road.
