Cape Girardeau

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Melinda C. Larkins, 44, of Charleston, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.
  • Emily R. Douglas, 19, 2857 Themis St., Apt. B4, was arrested on two Randolph County warrants for failure to appear for passing bad checks and failure to appear for property damage and two Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court for failure to pay fines for rear lights required and no operator's license.
  • Joseph B. Cannon, 27, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for speeding.
  • Darryl A. Miller, 22, of St. Louis, was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for leaving the scene, no insurance and failure to appear for DWI and no seat belt.
  • Christopher B. Beans, 20, of Florissant, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of being a minor in possession of alcohol, failure to yield to emergency vehicle, no operator's license, failure to drive on right half of roadway and failure to stop for stop sign.
  • A 14-year-old girl was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon.
  • Ashley E. McAlister, 22, of Jonesboro, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.
  • Two subjects are in custody pending filing of formal charges on suspicion of stealing.
  • Daunte J. Smith, 28, of Lilbourn, Mo., was arrested on a Missouri Board of Probation and Parole warrant out of Jefferson City for probation violation.
  • Joshua C. Shands, 18, Highway ZZ, Box 213, was arrested on a Glenallen, Mo., warrant for failure to appear for improper registration and failure to appear for seat belt violation.
  • Stephen R. Johnson, 24, of 2020 Robin Hood Circle, was arrested on a warrant.

Assaults

  • A 16-year-old girl was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of assault.
  • A 15-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of assault and harassment by phone.

DWIs

  • Anthony C. Borgfield, 29, 2819 Whitener St., No. 2, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, indecent exposure and failure to maintain lane.
  • Rezese Litillitus III, 23, 2837 Themis St., Apt. 3, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain lane and unlicensed vehicle.

Thefts

  • A purse was reported stolen at Themis Street and Silver Springs Road.
  • Jaspers, 10 S. West End Blvd., reported a theft of gasoline.
  • Rhodes 101, 1624 N. Kingshighway, reported a theft of gasoline.
  • A theft of money withdrawn from checking account was reported at 2027 Broadway.
  • Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported a theft of gasoline.
  • Money was reported stolen at 211 St. Francis Drive.
  • Jaspers, 407 Morgan Oak St., reported a theft of gasoline.
  • Checks and mail were reported stolen at 517 N. Silver Springs Road.
  • A license plate was reported stolen.
  • Stealing and a recovered vehicle were reported at Main and Themis streets.
  • A car battery was reported stolen at 1803 N. Main St.

Property damage

  • Doorknobs and windows were reported damaged at 903 S. Ranney Ave.
  • A window was reported broken at 1101 Bloomfield St.
  • A vehicle was reported damaged at 234 N. Sprigg St.

Summonses

  • Dustin L. Sexton, of Advance, Mo., received a summons for expired plates.
  • Brittany J. Bollinger, 1137 Oak Ridge Court, received a summons for striking a stopped vehicle and failure to show proof of insurance.
  • Tracy D. Dennis, of Rockford, Ill., received a summons for failure to show proof of insurance.
  • Cory C. Smith of Jackson received a summons for expired plates and failure to show proof of insurance.
  • Denise K. Kirk, no age given, of Jackson received a summons for failure to show proof of insurance.
  • Stacy W. Mansfield of Jackson received a summons for failure to remove mud from a city street.
  • Patricia A. Arnzen of Jackson received a summons for failure to yield.
  • Thomas H. McGowan, 1806 Huntington Drive, received a summons for striking a stopped vehicle.
  • Adam E. Hahs of Oak Ridge received a summons for knowingly operating a motor vehicle while spilling fuel onto the roadway from a ruptured fuel tank.
  • Matthew L. Martin, 12 Pindwood Lane, Apt. 6, received a summons for leaving the scene, driving while suspended and failure to drive on right half of roadway.
  • Stephanie E. M. Koenig, of 830 N. Fountain St., received a summons for striking a parked vehicle, leaving the scene and driving while license revoked.
  • Laura L. Burchard, of Sikeston, Mo., received a summons for failure to drive on right half of roadway and failure to provide proof of insurance.

  • Possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) and possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) were reported.
  • A 21-year-old male was taken into protective custody.
  • Failure to maintain property was reported.

  • Stephen D. Myers, 35, of 228 Cedar Lane, No. 13, received a summons for affray.
  • Stacy W. Mayfield, 29, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., received a summons for affray.
  • Bari M. Blevins, 31, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., received a summons for affray.
  • Christopher L. Eskew, 19, of St. Louis, Mo., was issued summonses for failure to stop for a red light and for driving without a valid driver's license.
  • Robert D. Ervin, 57, of 605 Charlotte Court, received summonses for failure to drive in a single lane and DWI.
  • Kasey E. Koenegstein, 22, of 116 Grandview Drive, received summonses for speeding and DWI.

Assault

  • An assault was reported in the 200 block of North West Lane.

Thefts

  • A CD player was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 700 block of Olive Street.
  • Identify theft was reported in he 1200 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
  • Stereo equipment was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 200 block of South High Street.
  • A theft was reported from a motor vehicle on Parkview Street.
