The following items were released Saturday by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI Michael Coomer, 27, of 56 N. Park St., Apt. 3, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated, improper registration, driving with a suspended license and failure to use a turn signal.

Arrests

A suspect was in custody pending the filing of charges for possession of a controlled substance, driving without a license, no vehicle taillights, tampering with evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Daniel Reid, 26, 3984 County Road 324, Jackson, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court and on a parole warrant.

A suspect was in custody pending the filing of charges of possession with the intent to distribute drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A 19-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

Candice Smith, 19, 419 S. Sprigg St., was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court.

Antonio Scaife, 19, of 816 Towers North, was arrested on a charge of stealing jewelry from the J.C. Penney store at Westfield Shoppingtown West Park.Summonses

Easton Meyer, 23, of 149 S. West End Blvd., was issued a summons for alleged prohibited acts.

Kyle Kieninger, 18, of 192 Caladium St., Jackson, was issued a summons for alleged prohibited acts.

Meghann Oziik, 18, of 115 Cherry St., Scott City, was issued a summons on a charge of being a minor in possession of intoxicants.

Tiana Fleming, 19, of 36 N. Ellis St., was issued a summons on a charge of being a minor in possession of alcohol.

Scott Elsay, 19, of 116 Thomas St., Sikeston, Mo., was issued a summons on a charge of being a minor in possession of intoxicants.

Property Damage

A car window was reported broken at 1803 Bloomfield St.

A vehicle window was reported broken in the 800 block of Normal Avenue.

Thefts

Amerimart reported the theft of gasoline from 1320 W. Cape Rock Drive.

A cellular phone was reported stolen from 353 S. Kingshighway.

Two mountain bicycles were reported stolen from 413 S. Ellis St.

A Missouri license plate was reported stolen from 134 S. Lorimier St.

A theft was reported at 805 Enterprise St.

Assault

An assault was reported at William and South Lorimier streets.
