  • Harassing phone calls were reported in the 800 block of Brown Street.
  • Harassing phone calls were reported in the 3600 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
  • A disturbance was reported in the 600 block of Broadridge Street.

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Derrick D. Reed, 17, 622 Bellevue St., Apt. E, was arrested on suspicion of burglary and assault.
  • Jonnisha J. Bridges, 18, 927 Bloomfield St., was arrested on suspicion of burglary.
  • Sarah D. Wright, 18, 2550 Masters Drive, was arrested on suspicion of burglary.
  • Reginald C. Hopkins, 25, 51 Hazel St., was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.
  • Rachael Hempstead, 21, 623 Jefferson Ave., was arrested on suspicion of assault and a noise violation.
  • Broderick D. Furlow, 37, 1815 Hudson St., was arrested on suspicion of suspended operator's license.
  • A subject is in custody pending filing of charges for assault, false impersonation and unlawful use of a weapon.

  • Mary E. Criddle, 47, 915 Hickory St., was issued a summons for a leash-law violation, vicious animal, dog bite and no city animal license.
  • Candice Pittman, 22, 3133 Themis St., was issued a summons.
  • Orenthal J. McCluney, 26, 119 S. Benton St., was issued a summons for failure to maintain property free of trash and high weeds.
  • Richard H. Peyton, 22, of Ellisville, Mo., was issued a summons for illegal dumping.
  • Cornelius V. Miles, 39, of Advance, Mo., was issued a summons for failure to maintain weeds.
