Friday, Aug. 16The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Arrests Kathy L. Pruitt, 46, address unknown, was arrested Wednesday on a Chaffee warrant for failure to appear.
Jacquelyn C. Layne, 41, of 916 Maud, Poplar Bluff, Mo., was arrested Wednesday on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court.
Two subjects were placed in custody Wednesday pending filing of formal charges for suspicion of trafficking crack cocaine, possession of marijuana, unlawful use of a weapon, resisting arrest, driving while revoked and failure to use a seat belt.
Stacy L. Waters, 22, of 2852 Vista Lane, was arrested Thursday on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.
Summons A summons was issued Wednesday to Orlando A. Torres, of 1806 Independence, Apt. 4, on suspicion of leaving the scene of an accident, improper backing, operating an unlicensed vehicle, and driving while suspended.
A summons was issued Wednesday to Marquies C. Boyd, of 421 S. Pacific, on suspicion of driving while suspended.
Assaults A subject was placed in custody pending the filing of formal charges for suspicion of domestic assault on South Sprigg.
Thefts Dishes and furniture were reported stolen Wednesday at 225 N. Sprigg.
Fraudulent use of a credit device was reported Wednesday at Kmart at 11 S. Kingshighway, Bi-State Southern at 920 N. Kingshighway, Texaco Xpress Lube at 460 S. Kingshighway and Food Giant at 1120 N. Kingshighway.
A stereo and remote control were reported taken and a vehicle damaged Wednesday at 100 Broadway.
A CD player, case and CDs were reported stolen Thursday at 442 S. Spring.
Attempted vehicle theft was reported Wednesday on the 300 block of North Park.
A bicycle was reported stolen Thursday at 1419 Themis.
Property Damage A trailer was reported spray painted Wednesday at GOS Leasco at 2126 Independence.
A vehicle was reported damaged Wednesday at 12 S. Park.
A vehicle was reported damaged Wednesday at 1215 Independence.
A vehicle was reported damaged Wednesday at 801 N. Pacific.
A door frame was reported damaged Wednesday at 429 Benton.
Miscellaneous A duffle bag and clothing were reported found Wednesday at 3439 William.
A cash register was found Thursday at the 600 block of North Fountain.
