Jewelry was taken in a break-in at Kay Jewelers at Westfield Shoppingtown West Park early Friday.
Cape Girardeau police responded to an alarm at the mall at 2:28 a.m. and found glass broken out on doors at the mall's south entrance.
Inside, they discovered that several pieces of jewelry had been taken from the jewelry store.
A watch commander did not know how the store had been entered.
