Jackson police report 9/24/13

JACKSON

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Justin M. Jones, 30, of Scott City was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear for a show-cause order on an original charge of failure to pay fine and costs.

* Darrin W. Wendel, 38, 117 N. Shawnee Blvd., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.

* A juvenile was arrested on suspicion of possession of less than 35 grams marijuana.

* Caleb A. Crowden, 17, of Scott City was arrested on suspicion of receiving stolen property.

* Christopher C. Brooks, 18, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of stealing.

* A 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle.

* A 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of burglary, property damage and theft from a motor vehicle.

Summonses

* Petchala A. Myrick, 48, of Scott City was issued summonses for failure to register a motor vehicle and displaying the plates of another.

* Kendall G. Hodge, 48, of Oran, Mo., was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.

Thefts

* Theft was reported in the 300 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

* Theft was reported in the 900 block of Old Cape Road.

* Theft was reported in the 2900 block of South Old Orchard Road.

Miscellaneous

* Check the welfare was requested in the 300 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

* An assist was requested in the 1400 block of Orchard Drive.

* A domestic disturbance was reported in the 700 block of East Jefferson Street.

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 400 block of East Lane.
