Jackson police report 8/9/15

JACKSON

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Marc D. Whiteside, 27, 1225 Brandom St., Apt. 2, was arrested on suspicion of endangering the welfare of a child, neglect of a child and resisting arrest.
• Jason T. Hercik, 37, 1234 Crow St., was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and on a Cape Girardeau County warrant.

Summonses

• Joseph F. Hercik, 65, of Oak Ridge was issued a summons for illegal parking.

Thefts

• Thefts were reported in the 600 block of Randy Drive, the 300 and 500 blocks of Goodson Drive and the 800 block of Eagle Drive.
• Identity theft was reported in the 200 block of Wellington Drive.

Property damage

• Property damage was reported in the 300 block of East Main Street.

Miscellaneous

• Check the welfare was requested in the 600 block of North High Street and the 100 block of West Mary Street.
• Keep the peace was requested in the 600 block of West Adams Street, the 600 block of Colorado Street, the 100 block of Grandview Drive and the 100 block of North Bast Street.
