The Jackson Police Department released the following items Sunday. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Zachary J. Carpentier, 22, 320 Morgan St., was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of hindering prosecution.
• Rachel M. Swinney, 38, 606 W. Adams St. No. 2, was arrested on suspicion of stealing.
• Douglas Withers, 42, of Crossett, Arkansas, was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear on original charges of operating a motor vehicle without a valid operator's licence and stop-sign violation.
• Mark E. Short, 58, 2547 Berkley Drive, was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.
• Meaghan R. Tate, 24, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of operating a motor vehicle while operator's license is revoked or suspended.

Summons

• William J. McAtee, 42, was issued a summons for operating an ATV on a prohibited city street.

Thefts

• Theft was reported in the 500 block of West Main Street.
• Theft was reported in the 500 block of East Adams Street.
• Theft was reported in the 1100 block of K Land Drive.

Miscellaneous

• Keep the peace was requested in the 500 block of North Shawnee Boulevard, the 200 block of North High Street, the 900 block of East Main Street, and the 800 block of Andrew Street.
• Assists were requested in the 200 block of North West Lane and the 1100 block of Hannah Street.
• Welfare checks were requested in the 500 block of Stotler Way and the 1500 block of Oak Street.
• Property damage was reported in the 500 block of Goodson Drive.
• A court-order violation was reported in the 500 block of South Hope Street.
• Found property was reported in the 100 block of Morgan Street.
