Jackson police report 7/23/13

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* Robert J. Ellis, 30, 306 N. Neal St., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver's license.

Arrests

* Monica L. Jones, 28, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of stealing and fraudulent use of a credit card.

* Jacob M. Wipfler, 21, of Oak Ridge was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana.

Summons

* Jorge Garcia-Ruiz, 26, of Cape Girardeau was issued summonses for operating a motor vehicle without a valid operator's license, failure to have insurance and speeding.

Thefts

* Theft was reported in the 3000 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

* Theft was reported in the area of City Park.

* Theft was reported in the 200 block of West Adams Street.

Miscellaneous

* Keep the peace was requested in the 900 block of East Main Street.
