The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Bernard C. Cruz, 20, 610 Odus Drive, was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
  • Lindsey E. Seabaugh, 32, 3316 E. Main St., was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear on a show-cause order.

Summonses

  • John N. Egbuka, 59, of Jackson was issued a summons for public nuisance (trash).
  • Benjamin J. Essner, 32, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle without a valid operator's license.
  • Matthew C. Marshall, 47, of Jackson was issued summonses for failure to maintain insurance, a stop-sign violation and operating a motor vehicle while operator's license suspended.
  • Donna M. Longman, 52, of St. Louis was issued a summons for a stop-sign violation.
  • Emily J. Owens, 39, of Jackson was issued summonses for operating a motor vehicle while operator's license expired and failure to maintain insurance.

Theft

  • Theft was reported in the 100 block of Tracy Street, the 400 block of Whetstone Way and the 100 block of East Lane.

Assault

  • An assault was reported in the 600 block of Odus Drive.

Burglary

  • Burglary was reported in the 500 block of West Main Street.

Property damage

  • Property damage was reported in the 2700 block of East Main Street and in the 100 block of North Bast Street.

Miscellaneous

  • Assists were requested in the 300 block of North Missouri Street, the 800 block of Dorothy Drive and the 500 block of Crestwood Drive.
  • Check the welfare was requested in the 2300 block of Stotler Way.
  • Fireworks violations were reported in the area of Jackson Ridge Drive and the area of Birdie Lane.
  • Domestic disturbances were reported in the area of East Main Street and North Bellevue Street.
  • A fight in progress was reported in the 100 block of Grandview Drive.
  • A court-order violation was reported in the 700 block of Brown Street.
  • Keep the peace was requested in the 100 block of Grandview Drive.
  • Fraud was reported in the 2200 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
