The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Donald Matheson, 47, of Taylorsville, Georgia, was arrested on a Bartow County, Georgia, warrant for larceny.
• Daniel Withers, 34, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault.

Thefts

• Theft was reported in the 100 block of Court Street.
• Theft was reported in the 1800 block of South Hope Street.
• Theft was reported in the 500 block of South Hope Street.
• Theft was reported in the 1400 block of East Main Street.
• Theft was reported in the 300 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

Property damage

• Property damage was reported in the 600 block of Abbie Court.
• Property damage was reported in the 900 block of Gerald Street.
• Property damage was reported in the 1200 block of East Main Street.
• Property damage was reported in the 2000 block of North Farmington Road.

• Domestic disturbance was reported in the 1100 block of Apache Avenue.
• Peace disturbance was reported in the 900 block of East Main Street.
