The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Gregory L. Avery, 34, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of speeding.

* Jason A. Casper, 33, 2321 Oak St., was arrested on a Pulaski County, Ill., warrant.

* David L. Shipley, 21 of Glenallen, Mo., was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of improper parking.

Summonses

* Ritchie A. Jones, 39, 1112 Hannah St., was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle and a child safety-seat violation.

* Taylor D. Randol, 20, 144 M and M Lane, was issued a summons for displaying plates of another.

* Craig S. Hasheider, 38, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for a stop-sign violation.

Theft

* Theft was reported in the 900 block of Old Cape Road.

Burglary

* Property damage was reported in the city park.

* An assist was requested in the area of Sanford Street and North Russell Avenue.

* An assist was requested in the 700 block of Brown Street.

* A court order violation was reported in the 1300 block of Rolling Fields Drive.

* Check the welfare was requested in the 2200 block of Garrett Lane.

* Check the welfare was requested in the 1400 block of East Main Street.

* Tampering was reported in the 3500 block of Nicole Lane.

* Peace disturbance was reported in the 900 block of West Adams Street.

* Peace disturbance was reported in the 1100 block of K Land Drive.

* Domestic disturbance was reported in the 900 block of Morton Street.
