The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

* Scotty G. Barham, 31, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Jackson warrant for a show-cause order.

Assault

* Assault was reported in the area of East Jackson Boulevard and Walton Drive.

Burglaries

* A burglary attempt was reported in the 400 block of North Russell Avenue.

* A burglary attempt was reported in the 1100 block of Clark Street.

Thefts

* Theft was reported in the 2900 block of South Old Orchard Road.

* Theft was reported in the 400 block of Knox Street.

* Theft was reported in the 800 block of Strawberry Lane.

* Theft was reported in the 4800 block of East Old Cape Road.

* Theft was reported in the 2000 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

* Theft was reported in the 3000 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

* Theft was reported in the 400 block of North Farmington Road.

Miscellaneous

* Harassment was reported in the 900 block of Greensferry Road.

* Fraud was reported in the 2900 block of Dian Drive.

* Check the welfare was requested in the 400 block of Morgan Street.

* Check the welfare was requested in the 1200 block of Pawnee Avenue.

* Peace disturbance was reported in the 600 block of Colorado Street.
