The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

  • Kenneth J. Matthews, 24, of Carbondale, Illinois, was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and failure to maintain a single lane.

Arrests

  • Lola A. Cox, 56, of Whitewater was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear for stealing.
  • Michael E. Rice, 45, 612 Colorado St., was arrested on suspicion of trespassing and stealing.
  • Christopher T. Sample, 29, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of second-degree property damage, felony possession of burglar's tools and stealing.

Summonses

  • Rebecca S. Sneed, 30, of Jackson was issued a summons for a stop-sign violation.

Thefts

  • Thefts were reported in the 3000 block of East Jackson Boulevard; the 600 block of West Jackson Boulevard; the 2650 block of Clover Drive; the 2600 block of Clover Drive; and the 600 block of West Jackson Boulevard.

Burglary

  • Burglary was in ported in the area of South Farmington Road and Dallas Street.

Assault

  • Assault was reporte in the 700 block of Broadridge Drive.

Miscellaneous

  • Assists were requested in the 800 block of North West Lane and in the 700 block of East Jefferson Street.
  • Harassment was reported in the 1300 block of Old Cape Road.
  • A court-order vioation was reported in the 3300 block of East Main Street.
  • Check the welfare was requested in the 300 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
  • Harassment was reported in the 900 block of Odus Drive.
  • Fraud was reported in the 3000 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
