The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Zachary A. Payne, 19, 297 County Road 541, was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and on a Cape Girardeau County warrant.

* Benny J. Benavente, 25, 610 Odus Drive, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant.

* Jamie W. Donner, 18, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana.

* William C. E. Jaquin, 18, 1033 Highland Drive, was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana.

* Brandon W. McCullough, 17, 6009 Route W, was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana.

* Hunter M. Lucas, 20, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana.

Summons

* Michael D. Shortland, 32, 611 Colorado St., was issued a summons for allowing a dog to run at large.

Theft

* Theft was reported in the 2800 block of South Old Orchard Road.

Miscellaneous

* An assist was requested in the 2500 block of Travelers Way.

* Check the welfare was requested in the 300 block of Florence Street.
