The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

• James O. Baker, 31, of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.

Summons

• Harold G. Brauninger Jr., 45, of Sedgewickville, Missouri, was issued summonses for failure to register a motor vehicle and displaying plates of another vehicle.

Burglary

• A burglary attempt was reported in the 300 block of North Russell Avenue.

Miscellaneous

• An assist was requested in the 200 block of North Ohio Street.
• An assist was requested in the 500 block of Berchman Street.
• An assist was requested in the 4000 block of Ridge Road.
• Property was reported found in the 500 block of Elm Street.
• Liquor violation was reported in the 200 block of North West Lane.
• Fraud was reported in the 1000 block of North High Street.
• Weapons violation was reported in the 2600 block of East Main Street.
• Domestic disturbance was reported in the 600 block of North Hope Street.
