The Jackson Police Department released the following items.

Assault

* An assault was reported in the 1000 block of K Land Drive.

Thefts

* A theft was reported in the 1300 block of Brandom Street.

* A theft was reported in the 1200 block of Brandom Street.

Miscellaneous

* A domestic disturbance was reported in the 900 block of West Independence Street.

* A domestic dispute was reported in the 100 block of Cathy Drive.

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 2100 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

Fire

Firefighters responded to the following calls Friday:

* Emergency medical service on Brandom Street.

* Emergency medical service on East Main Street.

* Emergency medical service on Morgan Street.

* Motor vehicle crash on Interstate 55.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Saturday:

* A grass fire on Interstate 55.

* Emergency medical service on Mulberry Street.
