Jackson police/fire report 9/10/10

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

* Denzel T. Smith, 19, 909 Hackberry St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.

* Leah L. Marion, 46, 135 S. Shawnee Blvd., was arrested for on suspicion of distribution of a controlled substance.

* Issac J. Powers, 19, 906 Aspen St., was arrested on suspicion of burglary and stealing.

Summons

* Brandon S. Arthur, 17, 187 Arikara Lane, Cape Girardeau, was issued a summons for property damage.

Theft

* A theft was reported in the 2900 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

* A theft was reported in the 300 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

Miscellaneous

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 700 block of Goodson Drive.

* Harassment was reported in the 2000 block of Old Told Road.

* Harassment was reported in the 1200 block of Brandom Street.

* Harassment was reported in the 400 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

* Soliciting was reported in the 2700 block of East Main Street.

* A domestic disturbance was reported in the 800 block of Odus Street.

FIRE

Firefighters responded to the following calls Tuesday:

* A motor vehicle accident on East Jackson Boulevard.

* Emergency medical service on South High Street.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Wednesday:

* A gas leak on South Farmington Road.

* A citizen assist on Kimbel Lane.

* A power line arc on Dorothy Drive.
