Jackson police/fire report 11/21/10

POLICE

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Joshua Gaspard, 22, of Robeline, La., was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for burglary, receiving stolen property, a probation violation, resisting arrest and third-degree assault.

Thefts

* A theft was reported in the 3600 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

* Three thefts were reported in the 600 block of North West Lane.

Miscellaneous

* A court-order violation was reported in the 1400 block of Winesap Drive.

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 2200 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

* A domestic disturbance was reported in the area of South Bellevue Street.

* Fraud was reported in the 3000 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

* Two peace disturbances were reported in the 1200 block of Brandom Street.

FIRE

Firefighters responded to the following call Friday:

* Emergency medical service on Ridge Road.

Firefighters responded to the following call Saturday:

* A citizen assist on East Independence Street.
