The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Assault

* An assault was reported in the 200 block of North West Lane.

Theft

* A theft was reported in the 500 block of West Main Street.

Miscellaneous

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 1300 block of East Main Street.

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 1000 block of East Adams Street.

FIRE

Jackson

Firefighters responded to the following calls Thursday:

* Citizen assist on Deerwood Drive.

* Emergency medical service on East Jackson Boulevard.

* Emergency medical service on Abbie Court.
