Jackson police and fire report 2/27/11

POLICE

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* Michael Sanders, 64, 303 S. Farmington Road, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and issued a citation for careless and imprudent driving.

Thefts

* A theft was reported in the 2900 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

* A theft was reported in the 500 block of Cedar Street.

* A theft was reported in the 600 block of Broadridge Drive.

Peace disturbance

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 1600 block of West Independence Street.

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 200 block of East Washington Street.

FAIR

Firefighters responded to the following calls Wednesday:

* A medical assist on the 2000 block of Old Toll Road.

* A medical assist on the 600 block of Broadridge Drive.

* A medical assist on West Independence Street.

* A medical assist on South Hope Street.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Thursday:

* A medical assist on South Hope Street

* A medical assist on North Oak Hill Road.

* A call to check someone's well-being on Old Cape Road.
