FRUITLAND, Mo. -- A young Fruitland woman sustained moderate injuries Thursday in a collision on U.S. 61 in Fruitland.
Erica Wooten, 18, was taken to St. Francis Medical Center after the 7:26 a.m. accident. Her passenger, Tanya Herbst, 16, of Jackson, Mo., was taken to the same hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle, Michael Farrar, 42, of Cape Girardeau was taken to Southeast Missouri Hospital with minor injuries.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Farrar's vehicle was attempting to turn left and pulled into the path of the Wooten vehicle.
