Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls.

July 31

• Medical assists were made at 8:17 a.m. on Bessie Street; 11:35 a.m. on South West End Boulevard; 1:11 p.m. on South Silver Springs Road; 1:28 p.m. at Themis Street and North Silver Springs Road; 3 p.m. on Clark Avenue; 5:54 p.m. on Brucher Street; and 6:47 p.m. on South West End Boulevard.

• At 3:29 a.m., hazardous condition call was made on Marie Street.

• At 7:35 a.m., fire alarm on Thomas Drive.

Aug. 1

• Medical assists were made at 1:20 a.m. on South Sprigg Street; 4:24 p.m. on Independence Street; 7:28 p.m. on North Sprigg Street; and 7:48 p.m. on Louis Street.

• At 12:22 p.m., vehicle fire on Interstate 55.
