Firefighters responded to the following calls Tuesday:

• At 4:17 p.m., a motor vehicle accident at Southern Expressway and Interstate 55.
• At 5:50 p.m., a motor vehicle accident at Wisteria Drive and Mount Auburn Road.
• At 7:51 p.m., a citizen assist in the 2700 block of Hawthorne Road.
• At 7:53 p.m., an illegal burn in the 1400 block of Bessie Street.
• At 10:14 p.m., vehicle fire at 2435 Lynnwood Drive.
• At 10:23 p.m., emergency medical service in the 2800 block of Whitener Street.
• At 10:31 p.m., emergency medical service in the 300 block of Bellevue Street.
• At 11:56 p.m., an alarm sounding at 1389 Southern Expressway.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Wednesday:

• At 12:41 a.m., emergency medical service at William Street and South Louisiana Avenue.
• At 12:44 a.m., a citizen assist in the 1100 block of Linden Street.
• At 5:41 a.m., emergency medical service on South Sprigg Street.
• At 10:05 a.m., emergency medical service in the 1200 block of Big Bend Road.
• At 11:49 a.m., emergency medical service in the 1800 block of Thilenius Street.
• At 12:26 p.m., an alarm sounding at 341 N. Main St.
