Firefighters responded to the following calls Friday:

• At 3:35 p.m., a gas leak on Interstate 55.
• At 4:41 p.m., emergency medical service in the 2000 block of William Street.
• At 5:25 p.m., an alarm sounding in the 200 block of South Mount Auburn Road.
• At 5:27 p.m., an illegal burn in the 1700 block of Brookwood Drive.
• At 6:48 p.m., emergency medical service in the 1200 block of Linden Street.
• At 9:51 p.m., a police assist in the 1100 block of Linden Street.
• At 10:55 p.m., a transformer malfunction at Clark Avenue and Dunklin Street.
• At 11:47 p.m., emergency medical service in the 1100 block of Linden Street.

• At 12:56 a.m., a citizen assist in the 1400 block of Perryville Road.
• At 1:29 a.m., emergency medical service at Broadway and Spanish Street.
• At 2:19 a.m., a fire alarm at the River Campus.
• At 6:51 a.m., a citizen assist in the 500 block of South Sprigg Street.
• At 7:08 p.m., emergency medical service in the 1200 block of Linden Street.
• At 7:17 a.m., an alarm sounding at 2045 Woodland Hills Drive.
• At 9:28 p.m., emergency medical service in the 1100 block of Linden Street.
• At 10:21 a.m., emergency medical service in the 600 block of Jefferson Avenue.
• At 10:28 a.m., a box alarm at 518 S. Fountain St.
