Firefighters responded to the following calls Wednesday:

• At 6:09 p.m., emergency medical service in the 2800 block of Independence Street.
• At 6:49 p.m., emergency medical service at Arena Park.
• At 7:18 p.m., citizen assistance in the 1400 block of South West End Boulevard.
• At 7:49 p.m., emergency medical service in the 500 block of North Sprigg Street.
• At 10:14 p.m., medical assistance in the 900 block of Southy Ellis Street.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Thursday:

• At 5:01 a.m., medical assistance in the 2700 block of Gordonville Road.
• At 10:06 a.m., medical assistance in the 600 block of South West End Boulevard.
• At 1:09 p.m., a stranded motorist at Siemers Drive and Bloomfield Road.
• At 3:06 p.m., a motor vehicle accident at South Kingshighway and Interstate 55.

Jackson

Firefighters responded to the following calls Wednesday:

• Emergency medical services on Old Cape Road.
• A high-angle rescue on Ridge Road.
